The Work of the Spirit
Followers of the Way, under the power and direction of the Holy Spirit, bear witness to the living Christ together, as it is their loving welcome, their generosity, their partnership in the work of the gospel that makes a change in the world. This is the message of Acts. If they will know we are Christians by our love, then we can only be Christians in community. In this study, we explore the journeys of the faithful. And we are challenged to note how our spiritual journeys have similar elements to those of the apostles, providing space for us to discern how the Spirit may be leading us to live into that Holy Spirit power that has come upon us – to be Christ’s witnesses “in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
